Ira Zecher, CPA

Mr. Zecher is a Senior Advisor at Fairhills. As a retired Ernst & Young partner, Mr. Zecher has extensive experience in audits and transactions. As a senior member of E&Y's Transaction Advisory Services practice, Mr. Zecher advised private equity and corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions across a broad range of industries, including retail, international trade, distribution and manufacturing. With more than 20 years of M&A experience, Mr. Zecher led due diligence engagements in support of hundreds of transactions. Having served as E&Y's Far East Private Equity Leader for two years, he has in-depth experience executing transactions in Asia as well as in the U.S. In 2007, Mr. Zecher was elected to serve a 3 year term on E&Y's Americas Ethics Oversight Board.

Mr. Zecher is a CPA and holds a B.A in accounting from Queens College of the City University of New York. He also completed the Executive Program of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He currently teaches Accounting for Managers at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
